This package has all the essence of spirituality, cultural richness, and beautiful mountain views. This specific package is for everyone, whether you are a professional yogi or a beginner.

Yoga in Nepal means you learn a lot about original and traditional yoga with its fundamental principles. Led by professional yogis, you'll find yourself around like-minded people in quest of peace and spirituality in the academy during the sessions. As cell phones are prohibited at the time of yoga sessions, you'll get a chance to disconnect from the fake digital world and connect with nature & your higher self.

What makes this yoga tour even more interesting is we have two full days of sightseeing in Kathmandu. Not only that, you'll drive to a nearby hill station for a quick gateway and relish excellent mountain views. The tour likewise introduces you to Nepali art and architecture. You explore ancient palaces, temples, monasteries, courtyards, and museums. And the trip ends with shopping in the local market.

Yoga retreat itinerary

In the first four days of the yoga retreat and Kathmandu tour, you'll be staying in our partnered yoga academy and practising a range of yoga and meditation led by professional yogis. Please check out our detailed itinerary to know thoroughly about the day's activity. Simply, you begin the day by drinking lots of water, cleansing your nasal, and enjoying herbal tea. After that, there'll be an intense session of Bhakti Yoga (prayer/chants), warm-up exercise, Suryanamaskar, Yogasana, Bandha, Pranayama, and Shanty Path (peace mantra).

After this session, you'll have breakfast and tea. For the next three hours, you join therapy, help/cook in the kitchen, and do self-study. Then lunchtime comes and it ends with tea. After lunch, you will visit a nearby temple, monastery, and forest or do self-practice. From 5:00 - 5:15 pm, it's tea time, and once again, it's time to do the deep evening session till 6:45 pm. The dinner is from 7:00 - 7:30 pm. You then go on an evening walk, Vajrasana, self-study & practice (8:30 to 9:45 pm). The day ends at 10:00 pm.

Kathmandu tour itinerary

On the fourth day, the yoga session ends, and our team escorts you to the hotel. You are free to enjoy the evening strolling on the bustling streets of Thamel. The next day, you meet the tour guide and go on a guided sightseeing tour of Monkey Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The tour is a great introduction to Nepali art, architecture, history, and historical events.

You'll drive to Nagarkot on the same day and get to enjoy a beautiful sunset. Nagarkot is a famous hill station near Kathmandu, loved by locals for a quick getaway from the chaos of the city. It's 2,175 metres and offers breathtaking snow-capped mountain views on a clear day. Enjoying a gorgeous sunrise with mountain views on the following day, you drive back to Kathmandu stopping at Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square enroute.

Kathmandu Valley is divided into three parts; Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. In the past, all these three places were separate kingdoms and ruled by different kings. So, we have three mediaeval places in Kathmandu valley. The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is known for its 55 Windows Palace, the golden gate, ancient temples, etc. Likewise, the intriguing Newar architecture of Patan Durbar Square will leave you in awe. Both of these places have a significant history, shrines, courtyards, temples, and palaces.
