Difficulty

The Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek in Nepal is a moderate trek. The trekking route is diable enough for new trekkers to join. Thanks to many modern comforts available during the Everest luxury trek, this trek is relatively easy to do than the usual EBC trek.

The terrain demands 5 to 7 hours of walking each day. You'll be conquering steep uphill & downhill routes too. Likewise, there are a handful of rugged, rocky sections along the way.

Altitude sickness

Our Everest Base Camp luxury trek itinerary has two acclimatisation days, which makes the journey less risky to altitude sickness. We have a constant rise in elevation. Therefore the trekkers get ample time to adjust to the altitude.

Drink a lot of water & other fluids to keep yourself hydrated and lower the risk of altitude sickness. Do not consume alcoholic drinks while ascending. Look out for symptoms like difficulty in breathing, insomnia, headache, nausea, etc.

Everest trek preparation

We recommend our guests to have 4 to 6 weeks in hand before the beginning of the EBC trek. In this time, you can prepare your body to walk long hours and build up your stamina. The trekkers do not need to undergo any advanced training for Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek.

    Essential Info

    Best time

You can enjoy the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek to its fullest from March to April and October to November. These are the best months to have an undisruptive view of the Himalayan mountains. The trail thrives with trekkers from all around the world, so the ambience is fantastic.

The weather remains stable with low chances of precipitation. The bright and breezy days are perfect for treks. Similarly, the neither too hot nor too cold climate makes the journey pleasant.

Monsoon/summer seasons make the trek very challenging, so we recommend avoiding this time of the year. Likewise, early is also fantastic for trekking if you love winter landscapes. But you have to be ready to endure temperatures below zero degrees Celsius and delays in the flights.

    Accommodation

Because it is a luxury trek, we spend nights in some of the most lavish lodges available on the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trekking route. The rooms are fancy and equipped with modern amenities like wifi, hot shower, dryer, kettle, etc.

The rooms will be clean and have enough space to walk around. You get comfortable beds with soft sheets and blankets, along with a heating pad, pillows, etc. Likewise, the toilets are attached to the room.

    Meals

We have meals in the lodge dining area. You get a variety of delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch & dinner during the trek. You can choose whatever you like to eat. There will be meat items and bakery items available too.

The best meal during the trek is the staple Nepali meal called dal bhat tarkari. It is a combination o rice, lentil soup, veggies/curry, pickles, and other side dishes. This dish will fill you and also give you lots of energy to walk.

    Group/private joining

We have both group joining and private trek available for Luxury Everest Base Camp Trek. You can trek with your group or join one of our groups. During the trek, our friendly guide and porters accompany you.

If you want, you can also do a private luxury Everest trek with us. We will design the best itinerary for you to suit your needs and departure date. Our booking process is quite simple, and you can book the trek easily in a few steps.

    Child Policy

Trek with your kid to Everest Base Camp with us for a smooth venture. We have led many families to the base camp of Mt. Everest successfully. We are experts in organizing family EBC treks that involve kids, which makes us a perfect travel partner.

Our policy for underage trekking or trekking with a kid is very flexible. We see the health and fitness of the child. Whether their fragile body can withstand the challenges of the trail or not. For more information, we request you to contact us.

    Travel Insurance

Everest Base Camp is an extreme area. The medical facilities in the region are bad even though the trekking route is very commercial. We are not implying that you will need medical assistance during the Everest Base Camp Luxury Trekking, however we also cannot guarantee a 100% safe trek. Because everybody reacts differently to changes in altitude.

We advise you to get travel insurance that covers emergency air evacuation and medical bills. Nepal only offers minor travel insurance to foreign travelers. Therefore we recommend getting travel insurance in your home country.
